Dan Walsh has had a deep love for music since he was very young, growing up surrounded by some of the most influential music of the time. Since then, Dan has worked around New York City and beyond as a drummer and percussionist. He also spent time behind the scenes, working as a stage manager and MC at a range of events. Over the years, Dan deepened his connection to music as a music therapist, supporting people’s mental health in hospitals and community settings. Dan has also presented at conferences and universities on the role of music in healthcare. More recently, Dan has been composing and collaborating with an eclectic mix of musicians who bring their own style and energy to The Mobius Jamband—a project which has been featured right here on XLR Radio.
